Belfast park bomb 'had been there for a long time'

A bomb discovered in a north Belfast park hailed as a symbol of improving community relations had lain there for some time, police have said. Army Technical Officers (ATO) investigated the device at Alexandra Park and declared it viable. The alert was raised on Saturday afternoon and the area sealed off.
