Christina Aguilera loves her make-up

Irish Sun (IANS) Tuesday 24th April, 2012

Singer-actress Christina Aguilera loves her cosmetics too much, says make-up artist Scott Barnes, who doubts the former can ever keep her look toned down.

Barnes suggested that Aguilera should opt for a more subtle look for the show "The Voice", but he he isn't sure how long the change will last.

"Christina didn't really want to change anything, but sometimes, too much of too much is definitely too much. I cut back on the bronzer and redefined her look a bit, while keeping to who she is," contactmusic.com quoted Barnes as saying.

"She has a very expensive voice and I wanted her look to reflect that. It was fun playing with her look, but at the end of the day, the girl loves her make-up," he added.

"She's very opinionated about the way she looks, but she really likes the end result. She looks beautiful," he said.

The actress has previously admitted she finds it hard to stay with one style for too long because she gets bored.

"I like to keep it fresh and interesting. I get bored and I'm an artist first and foremost. I'm from the world of making videos and touring and I love theatrics," she said.

"That's why sometimes you'll see me with a hat, sometimes you'll see me just a little more subdued like today," she added.
