Report values Irish alcohol exports at more than €1bn

The Drinks Industry Group of Ireland (DIGI) has published a new report that reveals Ireland is just outside the top 10 exporters of alcohol in the world.The report, Beverage Exports 2000-2011, by Anthony Foley of Dublin City University Business School, says that Ireland is ranked 11th internationally in terms of size of alcohol exports.It also concludes that the value of Irish alcohol drinks exports are more than EUR1bn.The report shows that the ...
