Crackdown on separated dads failing to pay support for their children

Separated dads who fail to provide for their children may soon have cash taken directly from their wages or bank accounts. The Government’s work and pensions committee said that avoiding payments can have ';severe financial ­consequences'; for families. It costs the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission 50p for every £1 it is forced to chase up.
