Miss United Nations 2015 to visit Ireland November 12

DUBLIN, Ireland - The time is approaching when Sherrie Gearheart, Miss United Nations 2015, will be coming to Ireland.
The object of her visit is to educate the public on suicide prevention while bringing awareness to the issue.
Sherrie Gearheart, Miss United Nations 2015 and founder of Live Out Loud Charity for suicide prevention and awareness, is coming to Dublin on November 12, 2015 to crown the second Miss Worldwide Teen Ireland Ambassador for Live Out Loud Charity, Jade Donnelly. First Ireland Ambassador was sixteen year old Emma Gavin. She now holds a new title of Ultimate Miss Worldwide Teen Ireland crowned in Chicago October 18, 2015 during the 6th Annual Live Out Loud Charity fashion show fundraiser after her tremendous efforts in anti-bullying and suicide prevention.
Joining them will be Brittany Gallarneau Ultimate Miss Worldwide Teen USA.
During the visit, Gearheart, Gallarneau and Gavin, will reach out to schools and local governmental bodies to address the high rate of suicide in Ireland and implement a plan of action to address this issue.
According to The European Child Safety Alliance report, Ireland has the 2nd highest suicide rate among European countries. Suicide prevention requires a "very comprehensive and multi-layered response" and Live Out Loud Charity provides that first layer of response by educating teens and adults on how to prevent suicide and where to seek professional help.
Miss United Nations, Sherrie Gearheart, plans to combat this issue with her organization's program called Core Character Development which teaches self esteem, anti-bullying, and character building. Furthermore, Gearheart plans to teach individuals the signs of depression and three steps for suicide prevention taught through the QPR Institute.
