Gardai probing Hutch-Kinahan feud arrest four people

DUBLIN, Ireland - As part of an ongoing investigation into the Hutch-Kinahan feud, gardai are said to have arrested four men on Saturday.
According to officials, three me were arrested in the morning, on Gardiner Street in the north inner city on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
A fourth man, believed to be in his 40s was later arrested in a follow-up operation conducted by the garcia.
Along with the arrests, officials also revealed that they had seized three firearms, including a sub machine gun, a semi-automatic pistol, and a revolver.
A car and van have also been seized.
All the arrests and the seizures were part of an intelligence-led operation conducted by the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau into the activities of the two feuding Hutch and Kinahan crime gangs.
Gardai said the operation also involved searchers in north Dublin, west Dublin and the north inner city.
According to officials, a number of men were under surveillance and were being watched as they moved around a car and a van in a basement carpark at Belmont Apartments off Gardiner Street in Dublin's north inner city
Then, at around 7.30 am, armed officers from the Emergency Response and Armed Support Units are believe to have moved in, arrested three people at the scene.
Reports revealed that one of the men arrested, is a well-known gunman suspected of involvement in a number of murders in north Dublin.
Another is said to be a former British soldier who spent more than ten years in the British army.
Commenting on the operation, John O'Driscoll, the Assistant Commissioner in charge of Special Crime Operations revealed that the operation had saved another life.
He added that the pursuit of those involved is "unrelenting.”
