Frenchman Gael Monfils ousted Serbian Filip Krajinovic in straight sets Saturday to return to the finals at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Monfils, the No. 3 seed after winning the tourney last year, landed 35 winners in beating Krajinovic 6-4, 7-6 (5). He will face Canadian teen Felix Auger-Aliassime for the chance to become the first to win back-to-back trophies at Rotterdam since Robin Soderling in 2010-11.

"It would be great [to win this title again]. It would be, for me, unbelievable. It would be the first time to win two titles in a row and actually even the first time to win two titles in the same season, so it would be huge for me," said Monfils.

Auger-Aliassime bested Spain's Pablo Carreno Busta 7-6 (2), 6-4. The 19-year-old seeks the first title of his young career.

New York Open

Eighth-seeded Kyle Edmund of Great Britain dominated sixth-seeded Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic 6-1, 6-4 to earn a finals berth at the Uniondale, N.Y., event.

Edmund broke Kecmanovic's serve three times, including in the ninth game of the second set to take a 5-4 lead. The 25-year-old won 12 of the final 13 points in the match.

In the final, Edmund will face Italy's Andreas Seppi, a 6-3, 6-2 winner over Jason Jung of Chinese Taipei.

Argentina Open

Top-seeded Argentine Diego Schwartzman withdrew with a left leg injury, leading Portuguese lucky loser Pedro Sousa to advance to the finals at Buenos Aires.

Schwartzman looked notably sluggish this week, needing three sets in each of his previous two victories to reach the semifinals.

Sousa will face eighth-seeded Norwegian Casper Ruud for the chance to become the second Portuguese player to win an ATP trophy. Ruud, also seeking his first title, rallied for a 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 victory over Argentina's Juan Ignacio Londero.
