The Department of Health can confirm that a new GP contractor has been appointed to provide GP services to the patients of Flax Medical Centre in Belfast with effect from 1 January 2023.
The new contractor is Oldpark Group Practice.
Patients of Flax Medical Centre will automatically be registered with the new practice so they do not need to take any action. Patients will receive a letter in the coming days confirming details of their new GP practice.
From 16 January, both Oldpark Group Practice and Flax Medical Centre will relocate to new purpose built premises at Everton Centre and be renamed Eden Park Medical Practice.
