CO GALWAY, Ireland - Two men remain in gardai custody following the shootings in Galway City on Thursday night.
The men, one aged in his 20s, and the other in his 30s are being held at a Garda station in the Western Region.
The men were arrested after several shots were fired outside a house in the Knocknacarra area of Galway around 7:30pm on Thursday night.
It is alleged the shots were fired at the front door and window of the house.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They also appealing to those with camera footage (including dashcam) from the Knocknacarra area at the time of this incident to make it available to them.
