The current regular championship of the elite Belgian football championship started at the end of July 2022 and will end in April 2023. Genk

"Masters" had an excellent start in the current regular championship and after 16 rounds they were ahead of the second Antwerp by nine points. After that, Genk spent 15 fights in the domestic championship and one in the national Cup, without suffering defeat.

Shakhtar have a strong line-up consisting mainly of legionnaires. Regularly gaining points, the brainchild of Peter Kronen is likely to finish in the top four. If the gap from the pursuers is impressive, then in the championship group the inhabitants of the Crystal Arena are able to take the gold.

Bruges

Representatives of the city of the same name quite regularly score points in the regular championship, but they do not differ in stability. In 16 matches played in the domestic championship, Brugge managed to score 32 points out of 48 possible. During this time, the "black and blue" lost to Eupen, Standard, Westerlo and Ghent. It should be noted that the wards of Karl Hoefkens showed themselves great in the international arena. So the brainchild of Bart Verhage may well achieve its goals in the Jupile League.

The backlog of the "black and blue" from the leader of the regular season is impressive, but there is enough time to win it back. In addition, these teams will have to play each other more than once.

Antwerp

Wards of Mark van Bommel started the championship great, but then slowed down. From mid-October to early November, Antwerp played five rounds and won only once. Having defeated Ostend, the "great old" lost to Standard, Genk and Charleroi, and also tied with Anderlecht. In general, the Red-White-Blacks still lack stability, but the offspring of Paul Geisens still has chances for the championship.

The club from Flanders looks competitive, but the squad of the "red-white-blacks" is not particularly formidable and experienced.

Union St. Gilloise

The brainchild of Tony Bloom did a great job in the last edition of the Jupil League, but got only silver medals. In the current championship, "Union 60" periodically loses points, but in general it looks good. In 16 rounds, the guys of Karel Gererts won ten victories, drew three times and lost the same number of times. In attack, the Unionists are excellent and score an average of two goals per game. At the same time, the team from Brussels does not play well in defense.

Union St. Gilloise has retained last year's squad and may try to aim for the championship title. However, this will be even more difficult than last year.

Genk has excellent chances for the championship due to an excellent first round. However, Brugge has a more powerful squad and experienced performers. So we can assume that the "black and blue" will show character and get gold medals. "Masters" will be content with "silver". At the same time, Antwerp and Union Saint-Gilloise should fight for the bronze.
