DUBLIN, Ireland: Drugs worth about 2.75 million euros were seized in County Dublin, and two men have been charged with the crime.
Police searched two locations in the Coolock and Finglas areas over the weekend as part of an investigation into organised crime.
At a business property in Coolock, officers found 38 kilograms of suspected cocaine worth around 2.66 million euros.
They then searched a house in Finglas, where they found 1 kilogram of cocaine worth about 70,000 euros and 1 kilogram of cannabis worth about 20,000 euros.
The two men, in their 20s and 30s, were arrested and held at a police station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region under the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
They were later charged on March 22 and appeared in court on the morning of March 23.
Forensic Science Ireland will test the seized drugs.
The investigation is still ongoing.
